How to survive a media interview as a researcher

This 1,5 day workshop gives you background and practical tips to deal with the media as a researcher. How and when do you contact the press? What if they do not contact you? What if they do? We look at how you can prepare yourself for an interview by a journalist from written press, radio or television all the same: by reflecting beforehand on what your key message is and on how you can adapt it to your audience. We listen to a few exemplary interviews with scientists and discuss how you can react good and less good to questions the journalist seems to give you a hard time.
