Masterclass Evening Debate: How will we read in the future?

The first part of the evening will be a discussion between Rebecca Walkowitz and Emer O’Sullivan on the question of how we will read literary works in the future. Will our reading practices change in an era of multilingualism, translation, multimodality and globalisation? After the discussion, participants will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition created by PhD students in literary and translation studies from four Belgian universities. We will conclude the evening with a drink in the Faculty Library of Arts and Philosophy (Atrium).
