Meet the Jury Juha Lemmetyinen on The role of future satellite missions in retrieving snow water equivalent

When internationally renowned experts visit KU Leuven as a member of a PhD Examination Committee, we like to seize this opportunity to give this expert a forum to a large audience. All members of Science, Engineering & Technology are most welcome to the Meet The Jury Lectures.

Dr. Juha Lemmetyinen (Finnish Meteorological Institute) will give a lecture on “The role of future satellite missions in retrieving snow water equivalent”.

Additionally, dr. Nick Rutter (Northumbria University, UK) will give a lecture on “Sources, Sinks and Snow: winter carbon emissions from future Arctic landscapes”.

Following the lecture, there will be opportunity for young researchers to interact with them.
