About the lecture

The lecture will try to answer the deceptively simple question: How can evidence be generated and applied to support forward-looking clinical decision-making that reduces antibiotic prescribing without compromising patient safety?
Drawing on both intervention and qualitative research from Denmark and Kyrgyzstan, the talk will show how data, diagnostics, and professional judgement interact—and sometimes collide—in real-world primary care and discuss possible next steps to improve rational prescribing of antibiotics
