Prof. Alan Mantooth (University of Arkansas, USA) will give a lecture on “Shaping the Future of Power Electronics Integration and Packaging”.
Abstract:
This talk will span the application space of higher power electronics including transportation and grid modernization through the deployment of wide bandgap semiconductor technology. This includes materials, semiconductor, electronic packaging, integrated circuit design, and power conversion and controls. The talk will describe the new National Multi-User Silicon Carbide (MUSiC) Research and Fabrication Laboratory opening soon at the University of Arkansas. Several associated power electronic packaging and converter projects will be described.
Following the lecture, there will be opportunity for young researchers to interact with him.
