LET’S ENGAGE! Communicating research to policymakers using engaging written formats

Would audiences outside of academia benefit from engaging with your research?

This interactive workshop will offer practical tools, examples and ideas for how to effectively communicate findings beyond academia, with a focus on engaging with policy makers. This workshop will define what research communication is and outline its benefits. It will cover a range of formats that researchers can use to present their findings, as well as the process for creating a communication format (exploring structure and design considerations). This will be an interactive workshop and participation will be encouraged. The workshop will conclude an assignment for the practical session available 2 weeks after the workshop on March 2nd, 2023 (limited spaces available).
